If you sign up for a company account, you will be allowed to create multiple users under your account and some or all of those users can share contacts with one another. Sharing can get really messy if it's not simple and easy to use, so we made this feature as straightforward as possible.
Managing Users |
Setting up user permissions is simple. This screenshot shows the screen that lets you create users and decide which users share contacts. If a user doesn't share contacts, they also cannot see shared contacts, so they effectively have their own independent customer manager which is overseen by you or your company. |
Viewing Shared Contacts |
When browsing contacts, you have the option of only seeing your own contacts, or of seeing any contacts that are shared with you. If a contact is shared, there will be a small green "share" icon in the bottom right corner of their portrait. If you mouse over that icon, you can see who created the contact. |
Not only is the contact's information shared, but so are notes that were entered about the contact. You can see in this example that a pipeline update was entered by Tyler King and then a note was entered by Henry Smith. By sharing contacts, your entire company can have instant access to up-to-date information without syncing. |
